In this training, we’ll learn to define emotions, understand trauma’s impact on emotional development and discuss strategies to help your children manage their emotions.

For all 8th graders impacted by foster care (including adopted children).
Participants will:
Live at UM for a month for four summers
Participate in Saturday sessions during the school year
Build lifetime friendships
Receive intensive academic support
Go on field trips
Gain life and leadership skills
